Documents Required
Original Emirates ID
A valid and original Emirates ID is required for all applicants.
Eye Test
An eye test must be completed at an RTA-approved optical center before opening the RTA file.
Valid Visa Issued in Dubai
Applicants must hold a valid visa issued in Dubai.
Female Learners (Additional Requirement)
If you are less than 21 years of age and wish to take heavy truck driving lessons from a male instructor, you must visit the institute's counter to issue a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
Medical Fitness Report
If you are holding a driver’s visa (excluding taxi company employees), a medical fitness report from an RTA-approved medical center or hospital is required.
Working in Dubai with Visa Issued from Another Emirate
Submit a No Objection Letter from your Dubai office, referencing your current employment with them.
Holding a Partner Visa
Provide a copy of a valid trade license
