Dubai, UAE – The First Driving Centre (FDC) was a key participant in the prestigious 4th Dubai World Congress for Self-Driving Transport, held from September 24-25, 2025. The event, organised by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) at the Dubai World Trade Centre, convened global leaders and experts to drive advancements in autonomous mobility.
The Congress served as a critical platform to accelerate the Emirate's strategy to transform 25% of all trips into smart and driverless journeys by 2030. Discussions focused heavily on technological integration, safety protocols, and sustainability.
During the Congress, Dr. Suzanne Acetta, Executive Director of FDC, addressed delegates, highlighting the necessary evolution of driver training as Dubai embraces autonomous vehicles.
FDC’s strategy is built on ensuring that while autonomous technology will reduce congestion and emissions, the human community is fully prepared. As a leading partner to the RTA, FDC is committed to realising the RTA's vision for safe, intelligent, and sustainable urban mobility.
